Seamlessly integrating into the Sigma High Speed Zoom lineup, it shares standardized lens gear positions, facilitating swift and efficient lens swaps.
 
The 9-bladed iris configuration delivers elegantly round out-of-focus highlights, resulting in a naturally appealing bokeh effect. Manipulating the lens is a fluid experience, as the lens barrel offers an extensive 180° rotation from close focus to infinity. Additionally, the zoom barrel rotates over 160°, and the clickless iris ring boasts a 60° rotation angle. All three lens control rings are outfitted with cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears, while the focus scale is denoted in feet. The lens front bears a diameter of 95mm and features a detachable 1/4″-20 support foot. This foot, when paired with a separately acquired 1/4″-20 rod-mounted lens support (not included), provides added stability.
